This full condo renovation in Arlington transformed an older studio apartment into a highly efficient, modern‑transitional living space. The project focused on rethinking the layout to maximize storage, improve functionality, and maintain an open, airy feel despite the compact footprint.

The renovation included expanding the kitchen, creating new closet space, and converting the former den into a full guest room and storage area with a custom Murphy bed. A second custom Murphy bed was integrated into the main living/sleeping area, allowing the space to transition seamlessly between daytime and nighttime use.

The bathroom was fully renovated, and the entire unit received updated finishes that brighten the space while keeping a warm, transitional character.

Working within an older building presented challenges, particularly when upgrading plumbing and electrical systems. The design also required strategic planning to enhance functionality without disrupting the existing structural layout.

UNIK Creative Studio led the entire layout redesign and interior design, ensuring every inch of the condo served a purpose while still feeling open and cohesive.
